"I don't want anything to mar your pretty face," Haixia had said in a teasing one. His voice had trembled almost as much as his fingers and afterwards he had pressed a kiss as light as air against the almost healed injury.
Hailou swallowed against the pain the memory evoked and pressed against the open wound to overlay the emotional pain with the far easier bearable physical one.

Summary
Once, Zhang Hailou had come here with what he thought was Zhang Haixia's corpse and two coffins, ready to follow his lover into death after paying his final respects. Now, Haixia, back from the dead for the second time, was here to grab him and drag him back fully into the land of the living where he belonged.
