“I spent fifteen years in other countries, looking at wide open skies a lot like this one, wondering and hoping you were happy.” The words settle between them. “Now that I have you actually in front of me,” she presses a lingering kiss to her forehead, “I want to savor every minute that I can. So,” She kisses the corner of her lips, smiling against the skin there. “Yes. I would pick you each and every time. Much like I will choose you every day for the rest of our lives.”
“As will I.”
“Yeah?” Her smile widens.
“Yes, Andy. Even without this ring,” she slides her left hand from the back of her neck and down her chest, resting it directly above Andy's heart. “I would have kept choosing you every day.”
