Summary
This second fic installment takes place chronologically between "Everything for your smile and "Life isn't like in the books". While the first fiction showed Blitz comforting the owl, the tables have now turned: it is Stolas’s turn to save the imp from his own demons. It is a trial that will prove to be far more complex and painful than anything he could have anticipated.

Summary
Several weeks have passed since they became an official couple. Still, behind their clear happiness, Blitz’s wounds are still raw. This wall of scratched-out photos screams it silently whenever Stolas sees those faces buried in black ink. Determined to do something, the owl wants to pay back the one who helped him defeat his own fears. It's his turn to protect his imp, even if it feels like a monumental task.
