Summary
1956. The middle of the Cold War. Wherein America decides he can't deal with a World Meeting and Russia decides to help him out a little. This story is was initially intended as a standalone oneshot but also functions as a bit of a very loose prequel to my other fic, Breaking The Ice. Not necessary to the plot, just a bit of fun. But some things here do link back to BTI.

Summary
“Give me two weeks,” Ivan whispered. “Give me two weeks to prove to you that we can be the same as we once were.”
Alfred knew it was impossible. There was no way to turn back time, to return their relationship to be the way that it once was. He couldn’t give Russia what he wanted, even if he too desired for the same outcome. It simply couldn’t happen.
“Two weeks. Two weeks to ignore our duties. Two weeks to spend with each other. And then we see what the world has in store for us.”
Russia wishes he could turn back time to make things be the way before, America knows that can't happen so makes do with the present and looks to the future. Translations found at the bottom of every chapter.
