Summary
Pansy Parkinson is twenty-four, living in London, working in fashion, and completely fucking miserable.
She was supposed to go to fashion school. Neville was supposed to become a doctor. They were supposed to get a flat, adopt a cat, and eventually get married.
Instead, Neville is in Austria with a beautiful blonde girlfriend, Pansy is scraping dog shit out of her boss’s handbags, and everyone she knows seems determined to remind her that she has somehow become the least successful person in the room.
So Pansy does what any emotionally stable young woman with a wealthy family, a cigarette habit, and access to London’s most beautiful people would do:
