Del didn’t catch the rest as something large and dark appeared in front of him. It was slender, with a protruding nose and two rigid, thin arms branching out on either side of it. Something glittered in the fogged-up sunlight on top of it, like a flat pane of…yeah, there’s the X-Wing.

Summary
They made it through several more plain white corridors. Luke went through a secondary and tertiary checkpoint where he was repeatedly searched, scanned, and prodded for weapons before he was finally cleared to enter the cell block. From there, the walls and ceiling shifted from bright enough to burn his retinas to a lesser pale yellow while the floor became grates laid over an ugly duracrete foundation. He tried not to squint too hard at the debris that had made it between the welded bars.
Along the wall to Luke's right, cell doors made their appearance. They were spaced out in groups of two, implying the doors were located in the corner of each cell, and through the barred windows he was occasionally able to make out a prisoner or two. After a long moment spent observing them, he averted his eyes. There was the distinct tang of misery in the air and in the Force.
