“I’ve wanted to do this for such a long time”. Ramona is now (finally) registering her words, and it’s too much for her to dare let herself believe that she isn’t just Oona’s fixation of the week, and she desperately wants to know - how long is a long time exactly?
Set immediately after their first kiss, because I refuse to believe that two lesbian best friends wouldn't want to talk more about their feelings after making out for the first time (in between of making out a whole bunch more, obviously).

Summary
When an eleven-year old Oona, who has just moved to Sterling point, is miserable and homesick, scared of the threat of a new school in a foreign country looming over her, her new best friend asks her what she’d usually be doing back home. Turns out, she loves this weird British baking show, and even though Ramona thinks it sounds like something even Gordon would find boring, she signs herself up to watch it, because her best friend is sad and she wants to fix it. It’s the start of a yearly tradition that they (mostly) keep forever.
Or: A journey through how traditions between best friends change as they fall in love, fall apart, and grow back together.
