Summary
The fourth year of the Great War.
The war is going badly for the Kingdom of Vale.
In the Valean Flying Corps, replacement pilots arrive younger and younger every month. Bullheads return to the sky held together with canvas patches and hope. Mail rarely gets through. Sometimes neither do pilots.
Ruby Rose arrives at the front with dreams of the sky.
The squadron is less certain.
