Summary
Azriel is sent east to investigate rumors of enchanted weapons. He returns with a dismantled army, a ledger of traitors, and an antique mirror that shows only the truth.
For three weeks, he refuses to ask it anything he cannot verify. Then, after five hundred years of silence from the Cauldron, he asks one pathetic question:
Show me my mate.
The mirror shows him Aurora Bennett—a mortal woman in Chicago, armed with a butter knife, losing a war against a bookshelf, and living in a world where Azriel exists only in books.
Watching her should have been enough.
It isn’t.

Summary
Not every moment fit between the pages of The Truth in the Glass
These are the scenes that refused to stay deleted—the missing moments, private detours, alternate perspectives, and occasional pieces of absolute nonsense that still belong to Azriel and Aurora’s story.
Some are sweet. Some are painful. Some contain the filthy details the main work politely closed the door on. Please mind the tags.
This companion work is not intended to stand alone. Each chapter includes a note explaining where it belongs in the original story.
