"We are parsecs away from where that happened," insisted Din. "And even so, they won't be coming for me." There's no one left to, he didn't add.

Freshly off his run with Malk's debaucherous crew and with a slew of bad decisions at his heels, a young Din Djarin makes an emergency stop on an Outer Rim planet after a job gone awry. There, a small-town doctor shows him a kindness of which he is unworthy, and is forced to slow down, recover, and reflect.
Or: Kuiil’s death was so upsetting that I made a whole ass character to long-game a fix-it fic.
