“The fuck?” the kid mumbles, eyes fixed on Shouto and the corpse.
Shouto is still holding the knife, and he’s covered in blood.
The kid closes the door and slowly approaches him. “You did this?” he asks Shouto with what seems like awe.
“Wait,” Shouto whispers. “You aren’t scared?”
The kid blinks and tilts his head. “You saw me, didn’t you?” At that, Shouto nods, and the kid continues. “I killed mine. I strangled him to death and hurried here to help you. I thought you were just a victim, but… that hammer and the knife.” Narrowing his eyes, the kid smirks. “You’re like me, aren’t you?"
Because nothing is better than murdering your trauma away.
