Summary
X-Gaster is dead, and thanks to Error, as is most of the multiverse.
Cross is finally safe and free to be who he wants to be, but who is that exactly? He's been touched by the greater multiverse, and it's left him with an itch he needs to scratch.
Dream has a mountain of responsibilities and an even larger mountain of guilt. So many people rely on him and look up to him, and he cannot afford to fail them.
Maybe they can help each other.

Summary
Dream grapples with insecurities he's never had to confront and Cross makes one more promise he's sure he can keep.
(A little epilogue for those of you that like the other definition of cream ;) )
This can be read standalone, but I highly suggest you read "An Oasis for the Weary" first.
