Summary
"Sleep," she mumbled. "Please, just let me sleep."
Wednesday removed Enid's robe with careful hands, baring her bruised body to the dim room. Enid felt the mattress dip as Wednesday undressed and settled behind her, the familiar heat of bare skin pressing along her back.
"Wednesday, no. I'm so sore. I can't."
She felt the hard length against her thigh.
"I know," Wednesday said against the back of her neck, lips grazing the mating bite. "I know you're sore. I'll be slow."

Summary
Enid curled her finger and Wednesday's protest dissolved into a sharp intake of breath. She was mortifyingly wet, her body clenching around the intrusion with desperate greed. Enid added a second finger and began to move, slow and deep, watching Wednesday's face with rapt attention.
"You are beautiful like this," Enid murmured. "Fighting it. Losing."
"I am not — losing — anything —"
Enid's thumb found the swollen bud above her entrance and pressed in a slow circle. Wednesday's hips jerked. Her wrists strained against Enid's grip. Her teeth were clenched so hard her jaw ached, every muscle in her body drawn tight as a bowstring, and the pleasure was building with a speed and intensity that terrified her.
"Let go," Enid said against her ear.
"Never."

Summary
Enid's hand slid down her stomach. She did it slowly, watching Wednesday's face, and Wednesday understood with a dizzying sort of clarity that she was being hunted. Enid's eyes had gone nearly luminous. Her nails, when they brushed the waistband of Wednesday's black pajama pants, were a fraction longer than they'd been ten minutes ago.
"You could tell me to stop," Enid said. "You know I'd stop."
Wednesday knew. That was the worst part. She stared at the ceiling, at the water stain shaped like a hanged man, and said nothing at all.
Enid tugged the waistband down.
