Shane landed with a soft oompf and a bounce, immediately scrambling to sit up and glare at Ilya, who was still standing by the bed, towel riding dangerously low on his hips.
"There," Ilya said, crossing his arms again. "Now you are on bed. Much better for what I have in mind."
Shane scoffed, pushing himself further up the bed until he was propped against the headboard, a safe distance away. He crossed his own arms, mirroring Ilya's posture.
"Oh, you have something in mind? Please, do enlighten me. Is it going to be as thrilling as watching you flex for three hours? Because I'm not sure my heart can take it."
The sarcasm was so thick you could have cut it with a knife. Ilya felt a grin stretch his lips.
This was the game. He knew what Shane wanted. He wanted to be pushed, to be overwhelmed, to be taken so thoroughly that all the thoughts in his busy, over-planned head were wiped clean and replaced with nothing but the feeling of Ilya. But he would never, ever ask for it. He would just poke and prod and needle until Ilya snapped.
And Ilya was so, so close to snapping.
