Summary
Jeremy and Leo, from their first kiss to the last.
Starting pre-canon when they were in high school, continuing through tsc and slightly past tgr.
Leo hasn’t recognized him yet, so Jeremy could slip away easily enough, could disappear back onto the trail and start running again, but he waits too long, and Leo’s head turns. Part of him had been hoping that Leo had lost his good looks after moving away from California, but he looks just the same.
“You’re back in L.A.,” Jeremy says, aiming for it to be light. He’d heard Tessa Foster tell Mathilda that Leo had gone somewhere south for school, and he’d tried not to pay attention, but he couldn't stop himself.
“Knox,” Leo says. “Saw you made the finals again last year.” It has been a long time since he expected Leo to care what he did, but that’s something, at least.
“We played a good game,” Jeremy says, but he doesn’t really want to chat. They both know what he wants.

Summary
Jeremy’s presence at the Lofts seems uncertain in the aftermath of his banishment from Mathilda’s. He’s sure he’ll be summoned back, sooner or later, but for now, he gets to stay, which is made more confusing with the revelation of Jean wanting him back.
And Jeremy wonders if maybe he could offer enough, even knowing that Mathilda won’t let him stay, to make it worth it in the meantime.
“Mom’s going to want me to come back,” Jeremy says. It feels entirely inappropriate for the moment. He isn’t sure how to follow it up, because ‘but you can fuck me anyway’ doesn’t seem like the right words.
“Can we pretend again, then?” Jean asks. His pinkies are close enough to Jeremy’s waistband to make him dizzy. “That you are allowed to stay?” His voice sounds a little wrecked, and his lips are shiny with spit that might be Jeremy’s. Jeremy couldn’t deny him anything.
“Course,” Jeremy says, and then Jean kisses him again, more frantic than before.
