Midoriya cracks a grin. “These flowers are special. They’re grown at the grove, where the forest touches the lake. Good soil, healthy flowers. Tons of bees there. The owner—the one who gives me the flowers—he says he doesn’t like to ‘waste his gas money for my shitty ass shop,’” Midoriya says.

Wednesdays.
Those are Mei’s favorite days of the week. It’s the very center, which means it’s the most overlooked. It’s the most average. It’s the least memorable.
Hatsume Mei likes Wednesdays because they give her the opportunity to seize the day, craft it into however she sees fit, and turn a boring, average Wednesday into a fun, interesting, brand new day. Her love for Wednesdays was superficial at best, but she still liked them and refused to let them go. For her, Wednesdays were the days interesting stuff happened.
It’s the day a girl roughly her age entered her mother’s mechanic ship with a motorcycle.

“Then that complicates things, doesn’t it?” Takeyama says, not unkindly. She leans back, and downs her glass of champagne, serving herself another one. “You either tell her and get it off of your chest, hide it with everything you hold dear, or you suffer and risk losing your rent, work, and band.”
After Takeyama says that, it’s not too hard to guess what Kyouka’s going to do with her feelings.
Simple: she’s not.
