As you scanned the room your eyes landed on a guy who was standing in one of the corners of the living room, occasionally taking a sip of his drink as he surveyed the party along with you; as if he could sense that you were watching him his eyes snapped up to meet yours, you blushed slightly but managed to hold his gaze, giving him a small smile that you hoped came across as more flirty than creepy. It seemed to have the desired effect, he responded by giving you a smirk, raising his drink as if you were toasting from across the room.
