Description:

A Haru-centric take on life after Ch. 409

After returning from the future, Haru Miura will to do anything in her power to makes sure that a future like that never comes to pass—even if that means stepping up into the shoes of a Vongola hit man in ways that her beloved Tsunayoshi Sawada would never expect.

While Tsuna and the Tenth Generation Vongola Guardians are dealing with the Shimon Famiglia in the Inheritance arc and fighting in the Representative Battle of the Rainbow, Haru takes her first steps into dark depths of the mafia world and learns firsthand the pitfalls and tripwires that populate that path. She discovers just how deep love, death, friendship, and hatred can go.

Follow Haru as she begins her journey from a fledgling hitman who struggles to find acceptance even amongst those she calls “Famiglia” to something much, much more. Haru’s entire world gets torn apart and she assembles it back together in ways that not even Reborn expected.

This series will consist of 7 multi-chapter stories and at least 4 side stories that are not quite as Haru-centric.

Notes:

This series takes place after Chapter 409 of the manga. If you haven't read it already, I guarantee there are going to be spoilers--even if I'm primarily concentrating on Haru who conveniently seemed to vanish in "The Inheritance Ceremony" and "The Curse of the Rainbow" arcs in the manga.

From the moment Haru appeared, I thought she was a character with a vast amount of potential. From her fierce defense of Reborn against Tsuna’s “abuse” to her samurai-armor clad challenge to Tsuna I saw in Haru a character that could possibly break the mould that so many heroines wind up in during a shonen manga. I watched at the beginning with near-bated breath wondering what they would do with her character next. I’m sure you can imagine my utter disappointment when as the series progressed Haru gradually got shoved harder into the mould of the ‘damsel in distress’ and her potential smothered by cooking recipes, cleaning, and ‘support’ of the main characters. Now while I will readily acknowledge the support of the main characters is completely understandable, I couldn’t help but wonder what happened to that fiery girl that was first introduced to me at the beginning of the series.

I decided that I was going to take Haru’s destiny into my own hands and this is the result.
