By the time I finished watching the second season, Obi had thoroughly won me over to his hopeless cause. Musing on the strength of Shirayuki's devotion to Zen, I asked myself: What would it take for her to marry Obi?

I started scribbling dialogue on sticky notes. Six months later, the story has unfolded into three separate movements (thanks to my sister, Battlecrown) with a close look at the team dynamics in this fabulous ensemble cast and how the decisions made by each character affect the lives of all the others. Besides that, it's obiyuki angst with a happy ending! and that's the best I could do for for the Second Prince's messenger.
