The Ninjago that we know is just a cartoon, meant to be a form of entertainment for all audiences. Obviously, none of the stuff in the show ever actually happened in real life.
At least, not in the way that we know it.

After years of telling everyone the version we all know, the ninja realize that they do not want to be remembered as people who only told fantasy stories. They want to be remembered as the people they were long ago.

Eight stories. Six ninja. One goal.

To bring back history that was forgotten, and to show people the REALITY of their words.

 

(Ninjago au where instead of taking place in the cartoon world of Ninjago (thus using cartoon logic and the chances of death being kind of sorta low), everything takes place in real world locations and crap(meaning actual physics, kids dealing with irl problems while being ninjas, and the chances of death being pretty damn high now.))
