Constable Benton Fraser came to Chicago on the trail of the killers of his father, and met the American officer in charge of the case, Detective Ray Kowalski. The two worked well together, and a duet was born. But what happens when Ray is called undercover while Fraser is away, and replaced by Ray Vecchio? The story is an overview of the last two seasons, told through rewrites of a dozen episodes. It's based on canon, but is definitely an AU, as Ray V reacts very differently than Ray K, and the relationship dynamics throughout are changed.
