With all the recent events in the War Seas, plus the assassination of her king, Calvus Ceasar, Caesennia should by all means be wary of this man. That said, if she reported him, she'd lose out on a sparring partner, and then it'd be back to guard duty for the rest of her life. Not quite what she wants. Thus, she feigns ignorance.
Unfortunately, this sparring match didn't go quite as planned.

Okay... I think they are gone... welcome back my lovely readers to part 2 of Archaic Blessing! Despite the separate namesake and split between works this is a direct continuation of where part 1 left off. Don't expect much to change in the formatting or my style: this was published very recently after chapter 18 of part 1. I felt the seperation was more in-line with the changes in story and more importantly what the characters have gone through: it's been a long 8 years after all.
