Summary
He rubs at his face tiredly, instead looking around at the rest of their tiny kitchen. It's nothing like the impressive kitchen of his floor, or even the simpler set up on the dining floors. It’s a small kitchenette in the Toon rooms, shoved into a corner with colorful tables and chairs.
They barely have the counter space to make cookies. Still, this was the kitchen Sprout learned to bake in, before Gardenview opened. Back then, he didn’t have anything to worry about.

He woke up this morning feeling weird, a little overwhelmed, but hadn’t expected it to get this bad. Why did it hurt? Why were his ears ringing? He could hear so many different sounds. Laughing. Chewing. Squeaking. A few yips and barks. Snickering. Talking, whispering, the clattering of utensils and plates. Every little noise, normally easy to tune out, was suddenly on full volume.
Why was that?
Why couldn’t he turn it off?
It hurt.

OR: Everything’s been so different since Gardenview’s shutdown and the start of the runs; it’s throwing Sprout for a loop. Until eventually, it all gets too much, and breakfast is just too loud.
OR OR: Sprout gets overstimulated. Vee comforts him.
