    Apollo grew up on Delos with his mother and sister, sitting in the flowers, playing with the little animals, practicing his instruments, his singing, poetry, archery, and other things, along with Artemis.
    Life was peaceful. Beautiful.
    Apollo remembered a sunny day, where he was sitting in the grass, watching a shimmery black beetle crawl across the grass, while Artemis frolicked nearby and Leto watched from where she was sitting against a tree.

    Apollo always valued life. From gods, to nature spirits, to mortals, even to little insects, he always cared for all of them. They all deserved to live.

    But, being among the Olympians tends to rip that out of you.
