Summary
Not actually part of the countdown since that's over, but a sequel to Chosen because sometimes OCs just decide they want more time.
Theden is one of the rather few Castle Town survivors after the Calamity, and is recognized by Avax, one of the Sheikahs who brought Link to the Shrine of Resurrection, as one of said Link's fathers. Avax lets Theden know what's happening with Link, and Theden seizes the chance to do something for his son.

Summary
The man was in shackles. They bound his wrists, his ankles, his throat. Heavy. Cold. Unbreakable. His clawed hands were bunched into fists so tight they nearly broke the skin as anger raked through him. The savage, smelly men had gal coming so close to the Azim Steppe and Doma where his little hovel of a village was nestled. Greedy, metal-clad men who sought more and more land, more and more slaves for said lands, more and more foot soldiers for their armies to take such lands.
He bared his teeth in warning when the one seemingly in charge came closer, eyes flitting up and down his lean but built frame. "A good warrior. Strong build. Take him and any others in the area. If they resist, beat them down. Give them the collars. If they still resist, put the savages out of their misery."
When the Lesser Moon Dalamud falls from the sky, leaving destruction in its wake, Kairi and her childhood friend, Azi, are sent as part of the relief efforts to find any survivors in the aftermath. Amongst the blood, ashes and bodies left behind, Kairi didn't expect to find a survivor who would change her life forever.
