It was beautifully carved and if it was gold, would’ve looked like something straight from the Donner’s jewelry collection. His Pa placed it in his hand with a gentleness that was vastly unfamiliar, so Wyatt held it tightly in his palms. Promising to keep it safe for as long as he lived.
