Summary
Fuji hadn’t learned his lesson about not reading the fine print carefully. Why would he have to do this time? Yeyasu’s tournament was as simple as they come. Win the tournament, get 100 million hel for winning. Yeyasu was a changed man. He wouldn’t try anything funny.
Except, Yeyasu isn’t bright enough to realize that his own contract had an extra line added in at the very bottom of the paper.
“The 100 million hel can only be obtained after a successful marriage with our shogun. Marry into millions and never have to work again. Failure will result in a deadly curse that will attach to your family for all eternity.”
Now the two are bound together until marriage before Fuji can get his money and dip…assuming that things don’t take a turn for the worst.
