Summary
There were so many moments living in Chloe Lyman's guest house where Peter and Sam became Peter-and-Sam, and Sam wanted to memorize all of them.

Summary
So, like, Sam is pretty sure that if he walked in on Peter comfortable and jerking off to an American Apparel catalog, he would have just been a little embarrassed, but still self-aware enough to just turn and close the door. They would make a joke about it and move on. Sam is sure that he wouldn’t have become the absolute mess, like deer-in-the headlights, frozen in awe, person he came when he saw Peter making a very uncomfortable looking attempt at getting a finger in his ass.
Sam wasn’t braced for that hit.
Peter freezes and squeaks then he pulls his legs closed and knees up. The blankets are all at the edge of the bed. A towel was placed under him, because of course he was worried about a mess. He looks up at Sam with wide pleading eyes, as Sam freezes in place.
“Sammy?” Peter asked so softly. His voice was pleading. It absolutely snapped something in Sam.
“I can help.”
What?
“What?” Peter choked out.
“I can help, if you know, you wanted me too.” -

Summary
Peter Maldonado is your typical straight-laced, straight-A, successful student. In fact, he's perfect.
And totally, completely straight.
Except maybe not.
Based on the song Little Miss Perfect by Joriah Kwamé

Summary
No one’s ever told her not to kiss girls; not in so many words, anyway, but she can hear it all the same. If not from her parents, from her teachers and from the kids at St. Damascus. The lesbians from her synagogue seem happy enough, but they don’t have to go to Catholic school for the next seven years.
Chloe comes of age.

Summary
Sam was already frustrated with Peter tonight. Peter was being blind to what was right in front of them and his theory was clearly lacking motivation.
“Because he brings up some good points, man. DeMarcus kind of lives under Lou’s microscope, and DeMarcus is Lou’s business. So, I don’t think Lou would let DeMarcus commit these crimes-”
“Okay, but Chloe said that she saw the Turd Burglar card in DeMarcus’ wallet.”
“I know- I know. Pete, you keep bringing that up.” Sam resisted the urge to roll his eyes. The amount of times Peter based his theories explicitly on Chloe’s word alone was driving him up a wall.

Summary
Look, Sam gets it. Peter’s hot and like sneaky hot because people tend to go all She’s All That on him and not realize that he’s been fucking beautiful the whole time because he’s got dorky glasses and wears almost exclusively oversized sweatshirts. But it seems like all of St. Bernardine’s has caught on and, well, Sam’s frankly tired of people hitting on his boyfriend right in front him.
Or five times that students at St. Bernardine’s flirt with Peter and one time Sam does.

Summary
But not a lot of people had smiles like Sam; the ones that authors wrote about in Peter’s favorite books, the ones that could literally light up rooms, but Sam did. Of course Sam did. Sam wasn’t other people.
The “butterflies in the stomach,” the “thrumming electricity,” the “he takes my breath away,” the “I don’t see anyone else” -- all those god-awful tropes from Sam’s B-list romance movies, they’re all so, so real, almost embarrassingly so. But for Peter, “it would never happen” is even more crushingly real.
Because it won’t. Not with 1200 miles and some guy named Drew Pankratz between them.

Summary
Peter and Sam are having a great time at Chloe Lyman’s hella cool guesthouse. Except, Sam has this totally not-huge-at-all crush on his best friend. Also, Peter really likes to bake for some reason.
Or
“So, as Sam stood there, admiring his best friend (and crush), he decided that Peter Maldonado baking was not the craziest thing he had ever seen. Not yet, at least.”

Summary
Peter was really, really grateful for Chloe Lyman.
But that didn't mean she hadn't been getting on his nerves.
--
Or, Peter doesn't really like Chloe Lyman. He certainly doesn't like the way she acts around Sam. He doesn't know why.

Summary
Things that are the same: the casual back and forth talk Peter and Sam are engaged in as they set up the lights, the tripod. It’s an easy rhythm Kevin can tell that they’ve long since settled into. The bulky tracking device clamped around Kevin’s ankle. The hum of the washing machine in the next room. The orange string bracelet that’s looped around Sam’s wrist, peeking out from underneath his shirt cuffs.
Things that are different: Peter is wearing Sam’s sweater.

4 times Peter and Sam act like a couple, and the 1 time they actually are one.
