Summary
A trap set by Xanatos and Demona leaves Elisa dead and the gargoyles trapped in stone "until they rest on another world". Almost four hundred years later, the spell is broken, and the gargoyles awaken to find a strange, new life waiting for them--along with new allies and the same old enemies.
Another one of my earliest fics. Basically an excuse to play with the fact that SO MANY TNG actors did voices for Gargoyles characters.

This story is canon-compliant in all respects with the original trilogy. At least, in the authors consideration, in all important respects, together having watched a then-newly CGI'd version of Star Wars in which the words "Episode IV: A New Hope" had just been added to the crawling text on the starfield.
Unimportant divergences from canon include: George Cowley is a Jedi knight. All Jedi knights use the title Obi-wan. He is also an engineer from the planet Gles'ga. Luke Skywalker is known as "Daft Luke". Chewbacca is tolerant of humans who so mispronounce his name. Bodie just wants to make a living. Raya Picard is a princess.
The other author is Atropos: fate's a good friend.
