Summary
You live in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, as far as you can get from other people without being completely cut off. You were born here, and you've never left. You barely have reason to identify with the concept of a state called "Peru" but that is where you live despite your ancestors coming from other areas. You have electricity but also a blacksmith. You use modern rifles and shotguns for hunting, but do a lot of lower tech crafting. Your village is all descended from Spanish conquistadors and Aztec people, all of whom left modern day Mexico nearly five hundred years ago. You speak Spanish, but you also speak Nahuatl, and maybe some Quechua, and there's about a hundred of you these days. You have some contact with the outside world. Some traders visit, but it's always very controlled.
There's a young man who lives with you. He doesn't have a title of chief or mayor or anything, but he's in charge. He's been a young man since you were born. He speaks your languages and others with a strange lilt. He's ageless, strong, never takes ill, and oh yes, he can take over your mind and make you do or think whatever he wants. Your autonomy is subject completely to his whims, and he does not think like a normal person.
