He ran away from his actual parents because they wanted him to be a perfect daughter and to do that they were going to get rid of Scooby so Shaggy ran away and with his new family who accept him for himself now he's off to highschool where he meets the gang. BTW Scooby can't go to school so he hangs out in the mystery machine Owned by Shaggy. Now on to the notes. -

In season 2, Mr. E' is alone and becomes manipulated by Professor Pericles. He's given hope he can once again have a friendship with his childhood best friend *and* get the cursed treasure. By the time the wool is pulled from his eyes, things are far too late. Cassidy is gone, the kids have zero trust in him, and he's lost everything and everyone.
So what if Mr. E had wised up in season 1 instead of two? Or in other words:
