Summary
Today was a sanctioned holiday in Nevarra: Summersday, a feasting celebration to honor the summer's bounty. The majority of Nevarrans celebrated with huge festivals filled with colorful flowers and even more colorful foods. But in the Grand Necropolis, the holiday meant a mandated day of rest. No classes were held in observation of Summersday, and the students and faculty were allowed to leave the Necropolis to join the festivities.
Emmrich chose to stay home.

Summary
After Rook saves the world, the spirits and the Veil are noticably calm. Emmrich takes this opportunity to convincing Rook in accompanying him, back to the gardens, for a relaxing excursion. Then he discovers Lucanis might've tested Manfred's new abilities, scaring himself before his date with Rook.
