It's impossible to avoid going to the hospital after their latest job. Even if Cass wasn't certain they'd broken their arm (which imaging proved them right), Mako had definitely suffered a concussion, and Aria needed stitches on her scalp. Sure, Cass could have maybe managed the stitches themself, but head trauma is no joke.
AuDy, for their part, suffered nothing more than some minor scuffs on their chassis, and they wait for Aria, Mako, and Cass to be discharged from the ER with a patience that Cass does not share. Eidolons, they hate the hospital experience in general and the emergency care experience in particular.

Gig was a helpful guy. It was kind of his whole thing, or at least the foundation of his whole thing, and foundations, as anyone who'd watched his streams would know, were a pretty important part. He liked helping people out, he liked knowing he made their lives easier, or more interesting, or more fun, or that he'd lifted out whatever was making them stressed. He liked being the kind of guy you could rely on to help out with whatever, whenever, any time.
