    Max Renn is the president of an independent sensationalist TV station in 1980s Toronto. He hires Harlan, a techno pirate with a gift for "borrowing" new material for his adult-oriented channel. As their shared taste and curiosity bring them closer together, Max finds his reality becoming an alluring and unnerving fantasy. But why does this all seem so familiar to him?
