Summary
It’s April 1991. Helen is on maternity leave with her and Dale’s four month old baby daughter. Helen is anxious about doing everything right for baby Sarah, and is anxious about her abilities to give Sarah the best start to life. Turning on the television that night, her husband delivers her horrific news that only exasperates these anxieties. Is there anything she can truly do to keep her little girl safe and protected? Who could she confide these worries to?
Set five years after Season One, we are taking The Newsreader to the future, whilst still keeping the news at the heart of it. Which true story will be featured in this fic, I wonder?
