Summary
When Little John's grandma dies, he has no choice but to work tirelessly for ten long years. Being a bricklayer isn't easy, but it pays off, and Little John is finally able to buy an apartment with a beautiful view of his favourite city, Shanghai. Ecstatic, he opens the door to his new property, ready to call his wife and twin daughters - only to be greeted with empty air. Looking down, Little John can see the 0.01m of flooring that is his newly bought apartment. Little John is distraught. He is frozen in despair. This cannot be a liveable space. His wife will never agree to live here.
