Similar to Fangren's Total Shuffled series; the author is friends with Fangren which means their writing style is just as good. Unfortunately it's currently incomplete and hasn't been updated since December 2020. But it still got through 2 seasons (the fic has ROTI, AS, and PI all bundled together) which is satisfying enough.
Notable (spoilerific) things:
- Sugar dominating Fang
- Sammy and Scarlett rivalry
- Sierra actually being pretty entertaining, with her obsession not totally focused on Cody (chapter 17)
- Cameron seems to thrive better in a pahkitew island setting
- Zoke is written better
- Yay for no Dakotazoid and getting to watch Dakota's character development as an intern in peace; her subplot is entertaining
- Sam battling a bear with a moose like a pokemon battle in chapter 32 (TDPI episode 6) is hilarious
- Small detail in chapter 33 (TDPI episode 7): Zoey liking Beardo's beatboxing music because it's indie is hilarious
- in the same chapter, Scott and Dawn's back and forth bickering of mutual dislike is funny

Notable (spoilerific) things:
- Heather as a Pahitew Island debuter means she knows that the villain strategy doesn't work which is interesting
- Heck yeah Brick being large and in charge :)
- Mike revealing his DID early to get that out of the way
- Rodney's development by the end is nice
- Owen's a nice positive character since he isn't reduced to fat and fart jokes. Also, yay for him being openly bisexual and wingmanning for Brick
- Mal coming out at Mike's lowest point to protect him is great, with no BS reset button and a satisfying ending for Mike
- Having 2 gay ships be the focus is pretty cool. I don't actually vibe with the Brick/Duncan chemistry, and I don't really like Duncan either way, but they're still in-character and their moments are still entertaining so eh. I have a bit easier of a time imagining them together outside a competition setting, grown up and mature. But as it stands the pairing just feels awkward to me. Sky/Eva is pretty cool though, and it leads to some nice development of Eva's character from canon. Plus the Sky/Eva chemistry is more believable to me.
- Chef (implied to be mlm) giving Duncan a talk about toxic masculinity in chapter 12 is amazing
- The eliminated contestants actually show up in the finale so yay
- An amazing alternate third ending where the cast rebels against Chris (and sort of Chef; Chef is an interesting, complex character)

Summary
This is an AU in which Cameron is a superhero going under the name of Dorkazoid.
Cameron is a high school junior who had just recently managed to convince his mother to go to a normal public school after being raised in a literal bubble for all of his life. During this time, he managed to make a suit for himself just in case he got into any altercations. However, he never used it as he gained friends along the way who were Zoey & Mike.
One day while the three were all hanging out, there was a type of attack happening on the streets caused by Showhost & his henchman Chef. The three hid behind an alleyway & Cameron then remembered he had a suit in his backpack that he activated, later turning him into his superhero sona now known by the public as Dorkazoid.
