However, when he goes to talk to Charlie about the opportunity, he finds Charlie in the arms of none other than Marshall Penfield. Feeling betrayed by Charlie's actions, Ian ends things with the younger man only to find out directly from Marshall, later, that Charlie had rejected Marshall's advances. Before he can attempt to salvage his relationship, Charlie is taken hostage and Ian - along with Don's team - must race against the clock to find him.
