Basically I read "Indian in the cupboard" for the first time today and went feral so :/

THE ONLY MEDIA I HAVE CONSUMED IS THE BOOK, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE MOVIE LOOKS LIKE.
I also know "the Indian in the cupboard" is a kinda controversial book and I agree that many things written are stereotypical or just plain insensitive to Natives but! I just love the idea, and the character concept, I'm going to try to give Boone and Little Bear more characterization which may lead to them being out of character (if that makes sense) the reason why I put them as a relationship pairing & a platonic pairing is because in canon Little Bear does have a wife but the subtext of them being gay is there pretty much the whole time so *shrugs*The racism and homophobia will be toned WAY down but even then, sometimes because write things that are harmful, in the community they are writing about or not, so if you see something distasteful that doesn't get addressed in context please do not be afraid to tell me about it!
