Philippe had always been calculating, silver-tongued, a man of subtle cruelties and quiet machinations.
Even before the crown consumed him, he played his part perfectly—dark, princely, brooding, and charming. He entangled lords and ladies alike, becoming what they most desired.
But none pleased him more than a handmaiden to Queen Anne. His prized diversion. When treason and murder charges were laid at her feet, he did not defend her, only watched as she was led to her death. And as the gates closed behind her, something within him shut as well.

Summary
Louis XIV and Philippe become involved in a plot against a prince when they're transported into the Barbie and The Three Musketeers Universe. Upon arrival, they discover they share the names of the leaders in this new France, one of which is trying to kill the other!
Using the skills they learned from their world, the brothers seek out these alternate versions of themselves to prevent usurpation with the help of 4 spunky girls they meet on the way.
For Philippe and Louis, it's an intense culture shock as they find themselves in an unfamiliar Paris with different customs, fighting styles, language, and history!
Will they succeed? Or will the Evil Philippe take the throne?
