The second Death's hand closed around her wrist, her eyes fluttered shut. So gentle. So patient. A saint where Agatha was a brute — cruel and constantly demanding.
"Agatha, Nicky no longer resides in my domain. He left," Death informed. But from the tone of her voice, it was far from a good thing. Hell, she didn't even sound sad.
