Lance: Oh, man. [I see him grow visibly excited here, leaning forward and putting his hands up— he’s big on gesticulating, as anyone who’s watched the pilots of Voltron host SNL a couple of months ago knows.] Space is vast. I know that’s not groundbreaking knowledge there, and everyone’s somewhat aware of it, but— being up there? traveling around space for years, and knowing we never even— we never even came near to touching upon a tenth of what’s out there? That’s cool, weird and scary all in one.

Lance is a mess, all barely restrained pain of several different volumes and flavors, trying to act like this is not the worst thing he’s ever done to this team. Trying not to be so obvious in his guilt, like that ever did any good for anybody, much less for himself who loves to conceal it all in with a quiet smile pulling bandages over the cracks.
He’s a ball of recklessness, a trainwreck to some certain extent. But Hunk has never thought of him like that.

Lance nodded. "I've missed them for so many years... Seeing them again is just..."
"A little too surreal?"
"Yeah... Like... What if they've forgotten me?"
"I doubt anyone could forget you Lance."
Lance smiled a little. "I am pretty unforgettable aren't I?"
"Come on, we need to get going," Pidge said and put on their helmet as they began walking to the hangars.
"Hey, Pidge."
"Yeah?"
"Gracias por tu ayuda. Y por venir conmigo."
Pidge smiled. "No problem."
