Summary
The year is 3049.
When Princess Edelgard von Hresvelg of the Adrestian Empire is nearly killed on what should be a training operation, it seems as though all her hopes, ambitions, and dreams will fall to ruin... until mercenary MechWarrior Captain Byleth Eisner comes to her rescue, a chance meeting that changes the fate of the entire Inner Sphere in one graceful swoop.
It also happens to throw both their lives wildly off-course, if you believe in such things.(I don't think you need to know much about BattleTech to read and enjoy this, but it certainly won't hurt?)
