Summary
Johnny (Rowan) and some of the other Rekt Gamers have been lured back into the fray of e-sports by the promise of a steady salary. Well, a 3 year contract at least.
This time, they're not the gamers, they're the teachers.
They're in charge of setting up the Auckland College of Gaming (TAFE Certificate 2 in Gaming Skills and Online Marketing). Which looks remarkably similar to parts of Unitec Auckland and/or Viva La Dirt League’s new studio, weirdly enough.
They're essentially making a cross between Hogwarts and the Professor X school for gifted children.
All of our favourite characters have grown up a bit, and grown world weary a bit too. Nyx (Phoenix) is the prickly star student whose hero’s journey we follow.
