Summary
The first things to shift were the doll's eyes, those beautiful pinkish-red glass eyes. Slowly they swivelled, until their icy gaze was resting on Sunny's face. Then the tiny rosebud mouth moved, opened to speak. "Who do you think you are? This is my family."
When Sunny wakes up after an accident, he knows something is very wrong. He is unsatiably hungry; he keeps waking up with leaves in his hair, and his sister seems terrified of him. When it all gets too much and he starts to cry, his tears are like cobwebs.
Soon Sunny discovers that what happened to him is more strange and terrible than he could ever have imagined, and that he is quite literally not himself. In a quest find the truth he must travel into the terrifying Underbelly of the city to meet a twisted architect who has dark designs on his family - before it's too late.
OR Cuckoo Song, but with the OMORI cast. I came up with this when I was half asleep, don't judge it too harshly. I tried to make it as accurate as possible to both, but a few bits and pieces have been changed, and not always in the most obvious of ways! For example, Mari is alive, but Nick (Omoriboy) is dead in place of Sebastian. Oh, and the Suzukis are the Crescents for simplicity. -
