Ruxby one-shots.
I originally wrote these for myself and wasn't going to post them because I didn't want to be a parasocial fucker. But in light of Rue and Oxby officially dating, I don't mind sharing these with other Ruxby enjoyers.
All of my writings are interpretations of existing roleplay characters. Some are written without my having extensive knowledge. These are all, obviously, works of fiction and not to be taken seriously in any light. Be chill, y'all, and enjoy the Ruxby fluff I wrote. I will delete this if people get weird about it, or if I am requested to delete it from the original roleplayers.
I yoinked the title of this from Cutieno's stream on 9/6/25 where Oxby and Rue had their first date. The title was too cute, and I felt like it fits.

The Paleto Town Square is a hub of activity, both the quaint aesthetic of the area and the local shops that line the square are a match made in heaven for the town. There are three shops in the square that get the most business, partly because everyone knows them and partly because they have the best options for their services. Flop’s Coffee, The Shamrock, and The Tulip. Flop’s Coffee is a coffee shop owned by Flop Dugong, a very active member in the community who everyone knows and loves. The Shamrock is a tattoo parlor owned by Sean McQuillen, a quiet Irishman who is known for being mysterious and has several rumors swirling about him that may or may not be true. The Tulip is a flower shop owned by Ziggy Buggs, another active member in the community who everyone knows and also loves.

Summary
The Buggs Gang is well known throughout the west, an infamous gang that robs trains and banks, killing whoever gets in their way and taking no hostages. According to the legend, the Buggs Gang consists of three men and a lady, two of those men being in a relationship that most in the cities find unholy. Of course, no one actually knows and most think the Buggs Gang are a myth, something that parents and older cowboys tell the children to scare them straight. What the citizens of Tombstone, Arizona, don’t know, is that the Buggs Gang is already living amongst them, gathering information and planning the biggest bank heist the entirety of the west has ever seen.
