Figure held himself, wrapping his arms around his body trying to calm himself, hoping that the argument would die out soon; it did not. It was a cacophony of painful sound, making him whine and thrash his head. He wasn’t capable of crying, but if he was, he would have a puddle underneath him. The pain was splitting his head in half, he couldn’t breath. He wished for silence, tranquility, anything that would make it feel like he wasn’t dying.

Getting engrossed in the storyline, Seek doesn't seem to realize how close the other entity had gotten to him. He also didn't realize that he had a scent, Figure tells him otherwise.

Seek doesn't just conform to one shape the whole time. He's got all this extra goop, why not do something with it? If he's able to shapeshift, he's going to use that to his advantage. But this, on the other hand, is something he's worried about doing. If he does it wrong it could cause terrible things between him and the only person he's close enough with to speak to on a daily basis.
However, that person—the Hotel's very own librarian—doesn't seem too bothered by the idea.

Grey, a name fitting of a man who rarely shows his true colours to the world. His true emotions which were once deeply buried resurface again when a beautiful woman who has caught his fancy arrived in town. The timing of her arrival could not be more unfortunate, for 3 days ago the town was hampered by a thunderstorm that has caused lots of harm. While Grey’s family owned hotel is being used as a makeshift hospital, the chance to spend time with the woman arises along with the fact that a terrible curse has been unleashed.

The Hotel is an interesting place. At first glance, it seems like a regular establishment, fit with its very own guests and amenities. However, it is not as it seems. The beings that inhabit that endless building—the entities, as the guests of the Hotel call them—are ruthless. The only differences in them are their methods, and excluding that, each one is a murderer of hundreds.
But in reality, they're all human in someway. It's just under the surface...very far under the surface.
