Summary
After being defeated by Cloud for a third time, Sephiroth decides to travel to the past to enact his revenge. He ends up further back than he intended, however, and finds himself trapped in the body of a child.
Both he and Cloud are children now, but that doesn't change Sephiroth's plans. He will still mold Cloud into his puppet, will still punish him for his disobedience.
Unfortunately, Cloud is willful no matter his age, and Sephiroth finds himself living his life based on Cloud's whims rather than his own.

His mom laughed again. “Things can be weird and beautiful at the same time, you know!”
Cloud’s scowl deepened. His mom was very smart, the smartest person in the whole village and maybe the whole world, but she just didn’t get some things. Weird was always bad. Everyone in the village had made that clear. Of course they were all really stupid, but…but still…
Nothing about Sephiroth could be weird or funny looking because everything about him was beautiful and perfect.
