Summary
In a world of computer-assited racing machines. 16-year old Shinji Ikari is a young star of Formula 3 who despises Cyber Formula due to the death of his mother Yui while testing a Cyber Formula car, him driving for the T-RIDEN-T team and setting his sights on Formula 1. After winning the prestige Macau Grand Prix Shinji is called back home by his father Gendo, current CEO of a prestige sportscar and chassis builder NERV, his family's company and herritage. He requests Shinji to become NERV Japan's star driver in the new Cyber Formula team. Although wanting to decline first, the car itself, the Evangelion 01 and it's greatest weapon, the absolute terror field. Is enough to convince him to put his bias behind. Equipped with "SynchAI", a Cyber System designed and based on Yui herself. Alongside his team sets out into the world of Cyber Formula. While entangled in a love affair with a former teammate, butting heads with the current world champion Kazami Hayato and his teammate Asuka Von Langley, rebuilding relationship's with his mother's close friends, forced to fight his former teammates, facing off against formidable opponents that will push his skills to the max.
