Summary
A paladin to the God of Harvests and Fertility- knowing her friend who'd taken the heart of the forest god would be called to offer the sacrifice needed to raise the God again. Allowing it to happen, to stop her other companions from saving their friend and beloved- Dian must swallow down the guilt, swallow down the bitterness of her duty- to aid the god and give into their demands.
They have revived the Father of the Forests. They have saved the world from it's own decay. Yet it is hollow, and as her companions part, the loss still fresh, Dian looks to one who they avoided fighting to not risk death before their task was done. A death cleric who would have taken the God heart and become a god himself. He cannot be allowed to leave, to escape without recourse. So she will take the task upon herself to deal with him.
And she knows how to deal with men like him. To deal with those who wanted to have power, to have control- she knows the hearts of men like him. She knows what she can give him and how to keep him still long enough to make him weak, vulnerable. It's just a bonus that she gets to enjoy herself while she does it.
